About The Curator

Annetta Jackson is a Qualified Barrister called to the Bar of Lincoln’s Inn in 2021 and an Attorney-at-Law admitted to practice at the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court in Antigua and Barbuda. She has a certificate in Project Management and is a SIMI accredited Civil and Commercial Mediator.

She pursued her core legal studies in the United Kingdom and completed further professional certifications at the Norman Manley Law School in Jamaica.

Annetta presently works as a gender mainstreaming technician focusing on Legal and Institutional Frameworks. She is a Storyteller for Intersect Antigua, a Caribbean Feminist Collective advancing advocacy on women’s and LGBTQ+ rights access, and a Fellow for the Black Feminist Fund, a vehicle for resourcing black-led feminist movements globally.

She is invested in gender advocacy and has worked with both the CSOs and Government to advance gender justice in the Caribbean.

Annetta is also an accomplished photographer featured by Potent Magazine, ILE WA: Coffee Table Book, VSCO Selects, Equality Fund. Her written opinions have also been published in the Antigua Observer, The Halo Generation Y Magazine, WVL Caribbean Newsletter and others.
