The third restaurant on my Restaurant Week escapade was Garden Grill located at Dutchman’s Bay. This place isn’t new to me as I had been for many a catch up meal and Birthday Brunch. This trip was special, however, because it was my first visit with my Mom for Mother’s Day which also happened to fall on my birthday this year!

Garden Grill is one of those reliable spots that you book in at because you are guaranteed good food, steady service, and a pretty atmosphere.
For the Mothers’ Day/Birthday Breakfast, it did not disappoint. It was a perfectly sunny morning which was great for pictures and the air was not too hot.
We arrived on time for our 8:30am reservation and acquainted ourselves with the Garden Grill Mothers’ Day menu. Between the two of us, we both decided to have breakfast burgers and got mason jar each of non-alcoholic Sangria. It wouldn’t be a Garden Grill breakfast if we didn’t round it off with some beignets to satisfy our sweet tooth.

Let’s Get Into The Food!
On the flavour front, the Breakfast Burger was good. The 8oz Angus Beef Patty was cooked to perfection and the over easy egg really gave it that “Morning” feel. The Maple Aioli really saturated the burger and I could have done with a little less of it. However, it didn’t reduce my experience of the the burger.
The fries were standard and after vacuuming the burger, I had very little space to polish them off. The beignets are always good at Garden Grill and because the burger filled me up we ended up taking most of them in a to go container. The Sangria was absolutely refreshing and the bartender receives top marks.
Overall, it was a really great way to start off my birthday and I couldn’t have asked for better company.

Overview
The customer service at Garden Grill was good. As soon as we arrived we were escorted to our seat and our waitress gave us our menus right away. The service was smooth and the turn around time between ordering at eating was not long. The food was great and the environment is lovely. A perfect start to my birthday.
I always have a good time at Garden Grill. Overall a 4/5 for me.
