PRABAL GURUNG - Autumn/Winter 15-16

Even though i am unable to afford anything from this collection, i must admit that i am in love with it. The Autumn/Winter 2015-2016 collection from Prabal Gurung is one of light colours and attractive symmetry. I love the designs, i love the fit... i just love the collection. The patterns just scream Autumn/Winter and the style is also fitting for that time of the year. The execution on the catwalk was wonderful and the style just makes you want to steal the clothes off the models. The mixture of a light wintry palette with warm earthy tones adds to the overall attractiveness of the collection. I must say that the designs were well done on the part of Gurung and I look forward to seeing his spring collection when it debuts. The models also wore really great shoes!! Here is a peep at the collection :)

A/AU - Autumn/Winter Campaign

Loud, vibrant patterns seem to be a staple in the A/Au campaigns and the Autumn/Winter collection is by no means an exception. Asiyami Gold, one of my favorite lifestyle bloggers and instagrammers, is also the designer of her own line A/Au (periodic symbol for gold, isn't she smart :)  )  Her collection is stylish, tasteful and unique. She incorporates an array of earthy visuals in her campaigns as well as African prints that bring out the wild side of any fashion forward woman. Her mixture of loud prints and neutral tones also serve as eye catchers for her clothing. I really adore this collection and as a result decided to share it on my blog. So, Here you go ...

Jane Sews: Summer Capsule

the south african-based label jane sews has just released their new summer capsule collection, and as expected, it’s a good one! designer amy venter has introduced a beautiful new set of classic dresses and separates in a clean black and cream palette with the cutest little sandals and handbags to go with them. the palm print is fun and playful without being overdone, just the type of thing i would love to wear on that imaginary resort vacation i’ve got planned in my head. everything is constructed in crisp cotton, breezy rayon, and luxurious silk blends right in their durban studio, at an incredibly affordable price point. if you haven’t taken the time to check out this brand, then today is the day!  - Calivintage

The best thing about living in the Caribbean is that i get to shop for summer clothing all year round. So when i came across the JANE SEWS SUMMER CAPSULE, i just knew that these were things that i could see myself wearing. The 'flowy' dresses and loose flair bottoms are just perfect, and the prints scream my name. I'm a devout fan of dresses, and if you like them as much as i do, i can assure you that this collection is one you should check out.

The collection is both comfortable and stylish and is appealing for the everyday person to sport around. The collection incorporates very simple and bright colors that just shout summer. The tasteful design of the clothing attracted me to the collection to begin with. The Collection also has an afro-centric fell to it and i really loved the designs. The Shoot was well executed and the model was rightly selected. If you are ever looking for something new and refreshing i highly suggest Jane Sews.

MOSCHINO - Spring/Summer 2015

I've taken a liking to the unusual style of the new MOSCHINO designer, Jeremy Scott. He blends every facet of life and throws it on a piece of clothing. Whether it's your favorite fast food chain or something even more random, Jeremy has it on a model and going down the runway. Well, I've compiled for this post a few looks that caught my eye :)

This particular show was actually headlined to showcase Menswear Spring/Summer 15", however it's dotted with various pieces for women. I found that a bit unusual, but then again, everything is unusual when it comes to Mr.Jeremy Scott.
